For subtraction’s final project, I planned to make an iris structure with techno router.
Create sketch in Vector Works.
I apply this sketch on laser cutter and acrylic in order to test whether this structure can actually work.
For the techno router’s bit size, I modify some sizes of the path for screws and binding screws, then I apply this new files on the shop PC for NC code.
Get the board fixed on the router bed.
The 1/8” bit does not work for this project, the path part broke.
I changed it to 1/4” bit.
It works … but this pop-up window hates me…
These parts took me more than 5 hours because of the pop-up window above.
Combine things together with screws, washer and binding screws.
